1880s Historical Hat

Straw braid stitched to a blocked sinamay crown and a flat-patterned brim. Decorated with a pleated bias underbrim, custom pleated trim, and vintage silk flowers.

Painted silk wings and custom "stained glass" embroidery. Attached to a Fosshape tiara with wire butterflies.

Laser-cut vegetable-tanned leather armor based on Michele Clapton's design for Sansa Stark's armor from Game of Thrones Season 8. Draped using CLO3D. Embossing designed using Adobe Illustrator.

Base of the armor is made from black Phifertex mesh reinforced with 1/4" and 1/2" rigilene. Leather spines are riveted to the base.
